In celebration of World Teachers’ Day 2025 on 5th October, a group of NIHSS learners organised a short assembly and breakfast on Monday, 6th October, to express their appreciation for their lecturers and the NIHSS staff.
During the assembly, they emphasised the importance of the ongoing investment lecturers make in their lives, both academically and personally, as future Social and Health professionals. Their gratitude was expressed through poems, prayer and a small gift handmade by a Year 3 Nursing learner. Their gestures were lovely to the eye, music to the ear, and sweet to the mouth, and were very well appreciated by all NIHSS staff.
