As part of the rebranding of the National Institute of Health and Social Studies (NIHSS), NIHSS proudly presented representatives from different Service areas with our new Work-Based Experience (WBE) uniform. The brief presentation took place on Thursday, 12th November, during which representatives from the service areas also had the opportunity to share their views, ask questions, and seek clarification.
The WBE uniform includes a field uniform and a clinical uniform.
The field uniform is already being worn proudly by our Year One learners in the Diploma programmes for Emergency Medical Care, Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. We are also updating staff uniforms for WBE supervision to maintain consistency and professionalism. The staff field uniforms are already in use by lecturers in our Diploma courses in Emergency Medical Care, Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Environmental Health Sciences.
The new clinical uniforms for both staff and learners are set to be introduced in the first semester of 2026.
This rebranding brings a fresh, new look for NIHSS learners on WBE, along with the dedicated staff members for the WBE Supervisory Visits.
